Just because your tech is a few years old doesn’t mean it can’t be used. I used to upgrade my tech a lot more frequently than I do now. Yes, it was kind of a hobby of mine and while others might have spent their money on cars or clothes I spent in on tech gear, so it wasn’t all that bad. But as I get older, and with some insightful observations of a certain person who I owe a lot to, I’ve realized that there’s no reason to upgrade your tech whenever you can.
Now I’m not saying I don’t enjoy the latest gadgets. I do. But I don’t see the point – for myself – to upgrade my phone every year and constantly try out the latest tech. When it is time to upgrade, you can always find some good use for your old gear: giving it away, selling it, or repurposing it.
Anyway, just a personal thought and observation.
